McLaren has announced the crew of individuals who will be racing under its Shadow esports banner for the 2022 F1 Esports Series season. Returning from the 2021 season, Bari Baroumand will be back with team this season, following his impressive fifth-place campaign a year ago. But as for the new stars, there are a couple to talk about.

The third-place finishing Lucas Blakeley will be leaving Aston Martin and joining McLaren this year, and then to add to this, Shadow Academy graduate Wilson Hughes will also be part of this roster.

With a new crew of drivers, McLaren will be looking to improve on its sixth-place overall result last year, when the 2022 season kicks off next week on September 14, with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
