After lower than expected sales for Medal of Honor: Warfighter, EA has decided to take the game "out of rotation," with the publisher looking elsewhere for "year-over-year continuity".
Peter Moore recently told investors: "Critics were polarized and gave the game scores which were, frankly, lower than it deserved. This one is behind us now. We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation and have a plan to bring year-over-year continuity to our shooter offerings."
Instead of focusing on the Medal of Honor, it now looks like EA will turn the Battlefield franchise into a more regular offering (it's either that or Bad Company), as they look to catch up with the pace set by Activision's Call of Duty.
