Capcom went absolutely crazy with a bunch of Mega Man announcements back in December. They revealed Mega Man 11, the Mega Man X collection, and that both Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 are slated to release on Nintendo Switch some time this spring. They didn't share many details about the latter however, but they've finally rectified that.
We're now told that Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be released for Nintendo Switch on May 22. Capcom has also confirmed that there will be a bundled retail version. It's worth noting that this will actually just include the physical version of Mega Man Legacy Collection while Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be a digital download. The bundle also includes an exclusive Mega Man 30th Anniversary cleaning cloth, which might be one of the reasons why it costs $39.99. Buying the digital versions will save you some cash though, as Mega Man Legacy Collection will cost $14.99 and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 $19.99.
MMLC 2's teased amiibo support has also been detailed, as we're now told that using the regular or golden Mega Man amiibo will give us access to the eleven additional fan-made challenges that used to be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. A nice little treat for those of you who want to really test your skills.
