Miitomo heading to Europe tomorrow

Nintendo has confirmed that its new social app, Miitomo, is set to launch in the UK and across Europe on March 31. The app, which has already been downloaded more than 1 million times in Japan since its launch last week, is Nintendo's first foray into the world of mobile. It's free-to-play and will launch on both iOS and Android, and you can read much more about it here.

Also launching on Thursday/tomorrow is the My Nintendo rewards program, which will offer incentives to people who use Nintendo's mobile apps and buy games for Wii U and 3DS, giving them points to spend on games and in-game items. At the same time we'll also be able to start buying Nintendo games from the company's website, meaning you'll no longer have to switch your console on to make a purchase.
