Miitomo making $280,000 from microtransactions per week

According to a recent analysis made by SurveyMonkey, Nintendo's new app, Miitomo, is doing very well. The new social app already boasts 4 million active users, and 2.6 million grabbed the app during past week (with 370,000 downloads every day from the App Store and Google Play in the last seven days).

On a typical day, users get 2 to 3 sessions with a total of 7-8 minutes spent in the app. SurveyMonkey also revealed that the app pulls in $280,000 per week, or $40,000 per day, thanks to microtransactions.
