Italian studio Milestone have been making the officially licensed WRC games for a number of years, but they didn't release one in 2014 and their next rally game will be called Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo. It's a change of direction for the developer to create games without a license and a similar tact to what they're doing with Ride.
"We're excited to be able to publically announce our first proprietary IP dedicated to the world of autosports, and our second new IP for 2015," Luisa Bixio - VP Milestone, stated.
"Building on the expertise accumulated over recent years, with the development of four titles dedicated to the world of rally, we have decided to push the envelope with a title that goes beyond the canon of licensed games. We are thrilled to be working on this title alongside one of the most iconic figures in rally history."
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is targeted for release next autumn on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sebastian Loeb won 9 world rally championships during his career and won 78 races (almost half the number of races he entered).
