The esports industry is a very volatile space, and has been for a long time. It's incredibly common to see organisations and teams going bust, being acquired, or merging, and for Version1, the parent company of the Minnesota Rokkr, the latter could be on the table.

As reported on by Minnesota's FOX9, it's said that Version1 is exploring options to merge with another esports organisation as it looks ahead to the company's future. There is no word as to who Version1 will be merging with, but this will affect all of the company's teams, be it the Rokkr, and its Rocket League and Valorant rosters.

While this merger is being explored, it has been added that owners, the Wilf family, are looking to remain connected with Version1 going forward, as they want to continue to hold and operate within the esports industry down the line.
