Modern Warfare 2 breaks records

The UK's chief chart trackers Chart-Track have confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has become the biggest selling game of all time in the UK, by units sold. After a mere 41 weeks in the charts, only three of which it spent outside the top 10, it overtook DS title Dr. Kawashima as the UK's best selling game. Dr. Kawashima itself took 36 months to overtake the previous record holder Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

As ever, Chart-Track released no specific figures. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, despite mixed reviews, took the number one spot in the UK this week.
