Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has finally had a release date set for its PC version. The action-adventure developed by Game Atelier and published by FDG Entertainment is set to bring all the stunning HD fun of the series to PC on July 25 this year, as revealed in a tweet, where we also find out it'll come to GOG and Steam.

This installment of the franchise marks the return of the series created in cooperation with Ryuichi Nishizawa, the creator of Wonder Boy in the Monster World series. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a side-scrolling experience where players have the ability to change into several different types of creatures, and using these abilities, players will have to traverse different levels and overcome huge bosses in order to advance the story.

This game had outsold the others by an 8:1 ratio when it arrived on the Switch, and if you want to hear more about it before you pick it up on PC, check out our review.

Will you be picking up the PC version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom?
