Following the underwhelming performance at the European Minor, Mousesports have come to the conclusion that a change was required. Releasing a statement on the organisation's website, we find out that the roster has left behind Martin 'Styko' Styk, Chris 'chrisJ' de Jong, and Sergey 'Imbt' Bezhanov. Each of the team members were vital in the success of Mouz over the past couple of years, resulting in wins at ESG Tour Mykonos, V4 Budapest, and StarLadder Kiev.

Mousesports CEO Stefan Wendt commented on the situation, saying: "to secure competitive success in 2019, we feel it is necessary that the team gets a fresh start. It's a sad day for our organisation, as Sergey, Martin and Chris have been highly valued members of our team for a long time, but we have to look forward and work hard to keep our place among the world's best Counter-Strike teams."

One of the remaining players on the roster, Martin 'suNny' Kemppi also spoke out about the situation. "There are no hard feelings or any bad blood inside the team, we just drove ourselves into a situation we couldn't get out of and something had to change," he said. "It was the most successful run for all of us and I hope that this will change the careers of all of us for the better. Looking forward to a new and fresh chapter now, where we can be consistent contenders for titles again".

Alongside suNny, Mouz intends to keep Robin 'ropz' Kool and Tomas 'Oskar' Stastny on the active roster for the foreseeable future. As for the future of the roster, the organisation is expected to release information regarding their next steps very soon.
