While the star of Worlds 2022 was no doubt the matchup between DRX and T1, one moment that caught the attention of a lot of fans was when Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson appeared on the broadcast desk for the event to chat with the broadcast team.

During that appearance, the massively popular content creator was asked about whether getting into the competitive League of Legends scene was ever something he would be interested in, and MrBeast gave a pretty affirming response.

"Well, yeah... 100%. The question is more when," said MrBeast. "If we do it, I want to have a team that makes it to a stage like this. We gotta get the right pieces in place before we pull the trigger."

He signed off with, "It might be another year or two, but yeah, 100%."

So there we have it, in the future MrBeast is aiming to become an owner of a League of Legends team, and by the looks of things, one in the North American league, the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
