Mythic Quest is a new TV show set in a game development studio

The creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is now tackling the video game world in a satirical manner. This upcoming series for Apple TV is based on the ins and outs of a video game development team who have created the most popular MMO in gaming; Mythic Quest.

If this all sounds a bit strange, well, it is. The trailer took a comical slant on game and TV development, taking a jab at the role of the creative director and how much focus is put on them.
A release date or window was not announced during the trailer, but as the show was announced before E3, we expect it to launch sometime soon.
