It looks like the popular streaming platform, Netflix, is getting a more expensive option for those looking for the "ultra" experience, and it seems as though the company is trying to launch a new higher priced option but without actually changing the price of its current plans.

While the prices of existing tiers may well stay the same, it does look like it may affect premium subscribers who could potentially be limited to watching on two screens instead of four, without the option of HDR either. Meanwhile, the costly new ultra tier looks like it will offer streaming on four devices in 4K as well as offering HDR.

Netflix officially confirmed that they were testing the price points that they have for the service, sending a statement to CNET that stated that "we are testing slightly different price points and features to better understand how consumers value Netflix."

Whether these changes will stick, and whether they'll launch in all territories remains to be seen.
