Pokkén Tournament turned out to be a huge success for Bandai Namco and Nintendo, and has received plenty of support since the release. December 15 marks a big day for the game, as Bandai Namco has revealed yet another fighter who will join the battle on that day.

Many speculated that the new character would be Empoleon, and it is indeed Empoleon who is the fourth addition to Pokkén Tournament, following Croagunk, Darkrai, and Scizor. The only catch is that these have so far only been released for the arcade version of the game and not Wii U. Hopefully all new characters will be released as DLC, but a more likely scenario is that an updated version of the game for Nintendo Switch will be released with these new characters included.
