New DLC for DC Universe Online

Sony Online Entertainment has just announced new content for their superhero themed MMO, DC Universe Online. Origin Crisis, due in May on both PC and PS3, is the seventh DLC pack to land for the game, and will send players back in time with either Batman or Lex Luthor in order to alter the origins of other heroes and villains. We're also being treated to a new power set - Quantum.

"It is really interesting to explore ‘what if' scenarios, and we cannot wait for our players to experience the twists Origin Crisis will introduce to the story in DCUO," said SOE's Jens Andersen.

The MMO's creative director then went on to say: "In this DLC, players will travel through time to play out alternate histories and futures. What would happen to Metropolis if Superman worked for Lex Luthor? What if Bruce Wayne became an evil assassin instead of a vigilante? These are the stories and realities that the players will experience and influence."

Origin Crisis will be free to download and will feature:
