New features added to War of the Vikings

The Early Access version of War of the Vikings has just been updated, meaning new maps, weapon looting and new blood effects have been added to the game.

The "Bloðorn" update (which means Blood Eagle) adds in a looting feature whereby players will be able pick up thrown weapons, axes and shields from downed foes. A new arena map has been added to the rotation, alongside the reintroduction of the Monastery map. There's three new profiles to try out, as well as blood effects that'll see the battlefield painted red as matches progress. There's more details on where you can get early access here.
