As promised, Crytek has deployed the first ever performance patch for Hunt: Showdown on PC. As the name indicates, the main purpose of the patch is to provide players with CPU optimisation, as well as reducing the memory strain and addressing a number of technical errors such as stuttering, texture details and the like.

Crytek says, that installing this patch should help the general smoothness of the game, as well as increase and stabilise framerate.

The patch was first deployed on the test servers and was then shaped with the help of the community. To hear a bit more about this process, Crytek has released the following interview with some of the developers responsible for the patch.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"This twisted online shooter is both unique and cleverly designed, and we love the atmosphere that Crytek has been able to create."
