Nintendo give us a release date.

Another announcement from last night's Nintendo Direct event was the release date for New Super Mario Bros 2. Mark August 17 in your diary, for that will be a most auspicious day for fans of the Italian plumber.

During the announcement Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata also revealed that the game would also introduce paid DLC, with additional content set to be made available for the Coin Rush mode.
