We're nearing the start of the Overwatch League's 2022 season, and with this being the case, we're starting to see teams make final, last minute signings ahead of the season kicking off. Yesterday, the London Spitfire picked up another support player, and now today, the New York Excelsior has announced the signing of a second tank player.

Joining the team as its sixth member, Jack "Vulcan" McArthur will be making his OWL debut, after previously being a part of a few different Overwatch Contenders rosters. Vulcan joins the NYXL as the only non-Korean member of the team, which does beg the question as to whether we'll be seeing all that much of Vulcan, at least during the opening stages of the new season.

Regardless, we'll have an answer to that question soon when the NYXL make their 2022 debut against the Los Angeles Gladiators on May 5 at 20:00 BST / 21:00 CEST. Catch the action here.
