Despite the GDC being in full swing, it doesn't provide our major story of the day.

Peter Molyneux, the co-founder of Lionhead Studios, and the pioneering mind behind many of Microsoft's biggest titles, has announced his intention to leave Lionhead and Microsoft.

Molyneux is going to stick around until work on Fable: The Journey is complete. Gillen and Mathias discuss their first impressions of the demo shown at the Microsoft Showcase.

Wii U developers are going to have access to the tech behind games like Assassin's Creed and Skyrim.

There was plenty of news coming out of EA today. They've announced a new SimCity game, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and three expansion packs for Battlefield 3. Bengt sums up things rather nicely on GRTV.

Apple is expected to announce the iPad HD tonight. They've also reported an astonishing 25 billion downloads on iPhone and iPad, with Angry Birds being the most popular paid-for app on both sides of the Atlantic.

And before you go, if racing's your thing, then you need to check out this interview with Dan Greenawalt from Turn 10, where he discusses all things Forza.

That's all for tonight. See you tomorrow.
