Nintendo has already branched out into the toy space many a time, but with Labo the company combined sturdy cardboard kits with the Switch and its Joy-Cons to produce a product that acted like a playset to interact with your console, and now the VR Kit has been revealed to add to the existing range.

This kit is landing on April 12 and of course lets you build the different VR experiences, as you can see in the images below. The Starter Set + Blaster Kit is an introduction to the VR world, but there are Expansion Sets on offer too, featuring the Camera + Elephant or Bird + Wind Pedal. If you want the whole thing though, the full Nintendo Labo VR Kit gives six Toy-Con projects in one package.

That's about all the official webpage had to tell us, but the images alone give us an indication of what we'll be doing with each, and the Elephant in particular looks rather interesting. We don't have long to wait to see it in action though, and see how Nintendo VR looks and plays. We imagine it'll be similar to something like Google Cardboard, since it attaches to a screen just like existing headsets attach to a phone.

Is this going to be added to your Labo collection?

REVIEW. Written by Tero Kerttula

"All in all, Labo VR is a really fun experience, one that each and every Switch player should try at least once."
