No Brütal Legend 2 coming

At the Develop Conference in Brighton Tim Schafer told attendees that there will be no Brütal Legend 2 from Double Fine Productions.

"Apparently when they said it was a done deal, they meant there was no deal, and we're done," the outspoken developer said referring to publisher EA no doubt.

But perhaps it's still good news for Double Fine fans as the studio now moves ahead with no less than four smaller projects, some of these are downloadable titles while others will be sold at retail. Four different producers have been assigned to the projects, but Schafer did not reveal any details of the games at Develop.
