In a production update that's perhaps not entirely surprising Ubisoft has announced that there will be no more physical toys produced for their toys-to-life space adventure Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

"Despite the immense and continuous support from our players, the sales for Starlink: Battle for Atlas fell below expectations. Consequently, we recently made the decision to not release any additional physical toys for the Spring update and in the future."

That's not to say the game won't be updated, a big update is planned for this month, and it will provide "new digital ships, pilots and weapons to collect". It remains to be seen for how long Ubisoft will provide free content updates for the game, considering what we assume is a rather small playerbase, but for now, at least there's something coming.

REVIEW. Written by Graham Bellars

"It's an ambitious game - part shoot 'em up space battler, part RPG-based planet explorer - and it's all wrapped up with a great story."
