No new Mega Man coming

This December sees another massive video game franchise celebrate its 25 year anniversary - Mega Man. Expectations are naturally high that Capcom will reveal a new Mega Man game, but Capcom Unity's Christian Svensson tried to keep expectations down on the Capcom message boards:

"In December 'some but not all' plans for the coming year of celebrations will be shared. There are many moving parts and not everything will be done and final come December. No one has promised a game or even an announcement of one at that time. Please do keep expectations in check."

So, perhaps we should not expect Mega Man 11 or a revived Mega Man Universe.
