No online co-op in Hyrule Warriors

Local co-op confirmed, but online won't be supported.

There's going to be no online co-op in Hyrule Warriors, the Zelda crossover title that's currently in development. An official tweet made on the game's Japanese account confirmed as much: "Cooperative play online is not supported. Please note. You can play co-op offline using the Game Pad!" The game will still retain some online functionality, but it looks like those wanting to play the campaign mode with their friends online are going to be left disappointed. Local play will be possible, with one player using the GamePad, the second using an additional controller.
