After a long wait, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (you can read our review Spyro Reignited Trilogy reviewover here</a>). Many have wondered, in fact, if Toys for Bob's new game will arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch, but at least for the time being, it seems that Activision has no intention of releasing it on further platforms.
In a recent interview with Nintendo Life, an Activision spokesperson said:
"We're excited that even more Spyro fans will have the opportunity to experience the franchise on PS4 and XB1 platforms. We do not have any other platforms to announce at this time."
That does very much sound like a prepared statement and until any further platforms are officially announced that will be the position conveyed by the company. It cannot be ruled out that Spyro Reignited Trilogy might arrive on PC and Switch down the line, particularly if the game proves a success. Afterall, Crash Bandicoot: Nsane Trilogy made it to both PC and Switch.
Are you disappointed Spyro isn't coming out on Switch this week?
