Following his recovery from a car accident that he was involved in earlier this month, NuckleDU has revealed that he will be stepping away from social media and esports.

In a Tweet, the former professional player said:" I will be putting my controller down now. Furthermore, I will step away from social media in general since I can't offer you guys anything anymore. Life is short and unforgiving. Call loved ones, make amends, go outside, and don't let social media consume you. Take care".

Prior to his recent retirement, the 24-year-old was known as one of America's top Street Fighter players and played for teams, such as Team Liquid, Ghost Gaming, and Echo Fox.

We wish NuckleDu the best in his recovery and future endeavors.
