OpTic Gaming won the CWL Championship in Orlando this past weekend which means not only did they lift the trophy, but they also earned $600,000 USD as a team which, as reported by The Dot Esports, puts them among the best earners in console esports history.

In fact, all four players, Damon 'Karma' Barlow; Seth 'Scump' Abner; Ian 'Crimsix' Porter; and Matthew 'FormaL' Piper, move into the two five earners in terms of prize money in console, with Jordan 'JKap' Kaplan of fellow finalist Team EnVyUs being the fifth person in this group, sitting in third place.

Karma sits at the very top of this list, with $638,597.25, which is unsurprising considering this is his third world title of his career, and Crimsix is in second with $17,000 less, after winning his second world title. JKap's total is over $548,000, with Scump sitting at $523,000, and FormaL just behind at $515,000.

As Karma himself said, though, it remains to be seen whether OpTic can still dominate in boots on the ground with Call of Duty: WWII, but he believes they can. Do you think they'll stay the top earners in a year's time?
