When you consider the fact that OpTic Gaming came in second in the Apex Legends Global Series 2023 Championship, it seems completely absurd that the North American roster has now dropped this team, begging the question as to what it's future will be in the esport.

OpTic has affirmed that all three of its Apex Legends players, William "SkittleCakes" August, Logan "Knoqd" Layou, and Mark "Dropped" Thees have been released from the team, and are now able to explore opportunities elsewhere.

OpTic has yet to announce a replacement team, or confirm that it will remain as part of the Apex Legends esports circuit.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
