It's no secret that OpTic Gaming's Call of Duty team, a roster that has experienced a ton of success in previous seasons of the game, haven't had a lot of success in Call of Duty: WWII, and this hasn't changed in the CWL Champs either, as they've been eliminated from the competition in the group stages.

Evil Geniuses was the team that dealt them the heartache, agonisingly dumping OpTic out due to them having six map wins compared to Evil Geniuses and Elevate on seven (all of them had 2-1 records in terms of match wins).

OpTic shifted the team around by moving Damon 'Karma' Barlow and Matthew 'FormaL' Piper out of the team earlier this year, but the addition of Sam 'Octane' Larew and Anthony 'Methodz' Zinni doesn't seem to have had the impact OpTic might have wanted.

Can OpTic bounce back next year?

REVIEW. Written by Ford James

"The campaign is phenomenal, and the Zombies mode is probably the best it's ever been."
