If you suddenly found your Steam version of the recently released Sniper Elite 3 deactivated over the weekend, it might have been due to the online shop that you bought it from.
Developer Rebellion has now confirmed that 7050 keys for the game were stolen and since sold by different online stores, with the result being that these keys have now been deactivated.
To avoid any confusion Rebellion has now confirmed which digital stores are selling the non-stolen keycodes, so if you want to make a digital purchase of the game, make sure to do it from one of these:
