There has been a huge amount of uncertainty surrounding this year of the Overwatch League. Blizzard has not been great at answering questions and shutting down speculation, which is why we have waited until a week before the season properly starts to find out that the OWL will be broadcasted exclusively on YouTube once again, despite Blizzard and YouTube seemingly no longer having an exclusive broadcast rights deal in place.

As confirmed in a new Opening Weekend 2023 graphic, not only is the broadcast location announced, but it is also confirmed that the Chengdu Hunters will not be present and competing in the near future, leaving only 19 of the 20 teams in for a shot at the World Championship for this year.

We're also informed about the map pools and the times of day each will be played on, as well as the drops that will be active, and which patch the OWL will start play with. You can find all of this information in the graphic below.
