The Behemoth, developer of Pit People, has announced that the game is coming to Steam Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview on January 13.

Pit People has already had two closed betas in September and October but developer The Behemoth seems confident in the game's current build. The aim of the Early Access is to add in new content and get some feedback back before Pit People's official release.

Both the Steam Early Access and the Xbox One Game Preview versions will include a "sizeable chunk" of the game's story, access to several world maps, quests, Unfair Challenges, and a PvP versus mode.

Unfair Challenges allow people to play against the AI, and Versus mode can be played with up to four people in 2v2. All of the game's multiplayer modes can be played locally or online.

The main campaign can be played single-player and two player co-op with options for local and online play, although Pit People will not support cross-platform play, requiring separate purchases too.

People who play the game during Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview will get a 25% discount and will include free updates. Pit People will be $15 US dollars (which is about £12) during Early Access. The full release will have a price of $20, which is around £16.

If you purchase Pit People during Early Access, the game will unlock all the features and you will be able to retain your save data Are you thinking of trying it out?
