It's become quite commonplace to see game companies teaming up with lifestyle and fashion brands to create a slate of clothes items related to their biggest and most beloved brands. The latest to join this fray is PlayStation and specifically Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo series, as the Sony companies have teamed up with Denmark's Bareen for a line of apparel.
The clothing collection is said to be paying homage to racing culture and 90s fashion, and includes tracksuits, sweatshirts, and oversized T-shirts. Since Bareen has a "no logos" philosophy, each of the products are styled and designed to be solely about Gran Turismo and the long-running series.
Speaking about the collection, Bareen's co-founder Mathias Klitgaard has said, "I'm very excited that we were able to work with PlayStation on the collection. Gran Turismo is one of those games that you can always come back to, and it's definitely a phenomenon of a series that not only gamers know about. It's great that we can pay tribute through Bareen."
The collection will officially launch on March 27, and since there will be limited stock, it's highly likely that, similar to Bareen's other collaborative collections, this one will sell out very quickly.
