PlayStation Plus prices about to rise

The one month and three month prices about to be raised.

Following a report by PushSquare last week, Sony has now confirmed, that prices for the 1 and 3 month subscriptions for PlayStation Plus will increase from September 1st. They've confirmed this in the following statement:

"We are dedicated to bringing PlayStation Plus members the best possible service with the most compelling content. From 1st September we will be increasing the price of monthly and three month PlayStation Plus subscriptions in line with market conditions. We will continue to invest in PlayStation Plus to ensure an unparalleled experience, featuring the best quality games and features."

How much the prices will increase is yet not fully disclosed, however the price was raised by 51% in South Africa in late 2014. The good news is that the full year subscription will remain at its current price (£39.99).
