After releasing the game in Japanese arcades back in 2015, Bandai Namco published an unusual fighting game this March on Wii U that mixes Nintendo's legendary Pokémon and the popular Tekken series, Pokkén Tournament.

Thanks to the presence of the popular pocket monsters and to the appeal that the Tekken series has always had among fighting fans, the game was a great success, something that's been confirmed by Bandai Namco this week.

The company has announced that Pokkén Tournament has shipped a million copies worldwide. A really interesting result, especially when you consider that this game is a Wii U exclusive. If you're curious and want to learn more about Pokkén Tournament you can read our review.
