The team working on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has posted a lengthy entry on the Steam page of PUBG to outline the road ahead. They promised to be more open and responsive concerns sent their way by players and fans. They also said to work harder to enhance the performance that suffers from various problems.

The devs admit that they have "fallen short" despite improvements being made to the game since build 1.0 launched back in December. "Players have rightfully called us out for failing to address complaints about performance," they wrote, "and recently we haven't done the best job of communicating about the changes we're making to the game." They want to change their communication and be more open and responsive in the future. Furthermore, the work on optimisation, while a top priority, isn't the only priority and a separate team is working on getting the new Sanhok map ready for release (before the end of June).

The plan is: "We look at feedback from players around the world when determining our priorities. We've heard your voices, and as a result we believe that the biggest issues which deserve our attention are performance, server-side optimization, and cheating."

Are you happy with the state of PUBG at the moment?
