Raiders of the Broken Planet price and release date revealed

Mercury Steam has announced that their upcoming 4v1 shooter Raiders of the Broken Planet will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 22nd. The prologue for the game will be a free download and on the same day the first paid campaign, Alien Myths, will launch at a price of €9.99/$9.99/£9.99.

Three further campaigns are planned for release at "regular intervals", and they're called Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal and Council's Apocalypse. In order not to create confusion these campaigns are playable in any order.

"We want to be a developer in constant dialogue with our audience and ethical in our dealings at all times," said Enric Alvarez, Studio Head at Mercury Steam. "Games are expensive and sometimes disappoint after all the media hype. We think allowing players to jump in for free is fair and if they like what they see, paying a reasonable price for more content is a better way to win them over."
