While it might have got off to a rocky start back when it launched in 2015, Ubisoft has steadily been able to grow Rainbow Six: Siege, turning it into one of the biggest ongoing shooters on the market, and now they've hit a new major milestone.

Through a press release, Ubisoft has announced that the game has hit 30 million players worldwide. This past August the game hit 20 million, and this number grew to 25 by December making for a 5 million player increase over four months or so.

To mark the occasion they've put together a new video, where they interview some of the players enjoying the game daily. Beyond that, if you want to read more about Ubisoft's tactical shooter, we explore it in great depth in Somewhere over the Rainbow: The State of Siege.
