After a couple of hectic weeks for game releases, this one does come across as significantly slower with a re-release of a great Donkey Kong title and a new historical spin-off Total War as the highlights.
April 30 - Today sees the release of trade simulation title Hanse - The Hanseatic League on PC and Mac.
May 1 - Batter up as Super Mega Baseball 2 arrives on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, it should be noted that it's also available via Games with Gold on the latter platform. Killing Floor: Incursion hits PS4 and PSVR. Rebellion release Battlezone: Gold Edition across PC, PS4, and Xbox One with the Switch version to follow this summer. Finally, for fans of old-school (we're talking Resident Evil 1 style gameplay) survival-horror Outbreak: The Nightmare Chronicles arrives on Xbox One.
May 2 - Coffee Crisis may already be out on Sega Mega Drive (!), but now the brawler also gets a PC release.
May 3 - The Creative Assembly have opted for a more specific conflict to portray in A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia (PC). Volantia: Kingdom in the Sky appears on PC.
May 4 - From some of the former staff at Irrational Games Australia comes Arabian Nights inspired roguelike City of Brass (PC, PS4, Xbox One). And finally, the rather splendid Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze arrives on Nintendo Switch.
