The end of a month is typically a busy month for releases as publishers want to make sure their potential customers have money left in their accounts and the end of May is no exception even if this week isn't full of major titles. Nevertheless, there are definitely a few interesting ones among the titles below.

May 29 - After a sizable delay horror game Agony finally makes it out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Die for Valhalla is an action-RPG of the hack n' slash variation that hits PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Hegemony devs Longbow Games release adventure game Golem on PC. Treasure's classic colour-coded shoot 'em up Ikaruga arrives on Nintendo Switch as does Legend of Kay Anniversary. The delightful top-down RPG Moonlighter hits PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Retro fans will have their hands full with Sega Mega Drive Classics on PS4 and Xbox One. Speaking of retro flavour, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection hits PC and consoles. Puzzle-platformer Shift Quantum appears on Open-world pinball adventure Yoku's Island Express bounces onto PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

May 31 - Cultist Simulator is something as peculiar as a roguelike narrative card game and it hits PC on this day. The weird and potentially wonderful survival/farming title Disdoored hits Steam Early Access. Loosely based on Italian crime films Milanoir hits PC and consoles. Overload is a six-degrees of freedom shooter (think Descent) that exits Steam Early Access. Fast-paced cyberpunk stealth action title Quantum Replica arrives on PC. Total War: Warhammer II is getting its first "lords pack" in the shape of The Queen & The Crone. West of Loathing the delightful doodle RPG hits Nintendo Switch.

June 1 - The beautiful shooter Earth Atlantis arrives on PS4 and Xbox One. NIS America's Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory arrives on Switch in Europe. The first episode of adventure game The Journey Down arrives on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
