Releasing This Week: May 7-13

It's a busy week of game releases as May begins to heat up. We're getting the full release of Conan Exiles, Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire sees the light of day, Destiny 2 expands with Warmind, and Trailblazers offers up a unique brand of co-op racing.

May 8 - Conan the Barbarian has seen his fair share of video games, but in Conan Exiles you're actually not playing as Conan himself but as someone else trying to survive the harsh lands. After just over a year in Early Access Conan Exiles launches fully across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. After a delay following the tragic events in Toronto, Death Road to Canada arrives on Switch and Xbox One. Destiny 2 gets its second expansion, Warmind on this day, and hopefully, this will reinvigorate the game (PC, PS4, Xbox One).

Last Encounter is an intense twin-stick shoot 'em up roguelike for PC. Obsidian Entertainment has finally gotten around to making a sequel on one of their own games (not just sequel's to games made by other developers) as Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire arrives on PC (console editions due out late this year). Raging Justice brawls its way onto multiple platforms (PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One) with its peculiar retro photo-realistic visual style. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero gets an enhanced version in Ultimate Edition (PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One). Visual novel Steins;Gate 0 finally appears on PC. Mario Kart meets Splatoon in Trailblazers, the first true co-op racer for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

May 9 - Illogika's action puzzler Subaeria finally exits Early Access and releases fully on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

May 10 - The lovely Immortal Redneck arrives on Switch. The mysterious puzzle adventure Lake Ridden lands on PC. Roll7's competitive multiplayer game Laser League launches across PC, PS4, and Xbox One (where it also launches via Xbox Game Pass). Visual short story Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition arrives on Switch. Wild West Online launches on Steam.

May 11 - A few years after its original release One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 arrives on Nintendo Switch.
