Remnant: From the Ashes launches August 20, 2019

There were certainly some unsettling environments on display in the new trailer for Remnant: From the Ashes, the upcoming co-op shooter from Gunfire Games. Huge demons were prevalent along with tentacles wrapping themselves around whatever they can find, creating a very creepy atmosphere.

The way the trailer sets up combat scenarios makes much of the combat look like intense, boss fight battling. An array of different weapons and abilities were on show, and it looks like you'll be able to tackle these demon-looking baddies in a variety of different ways. The game can be played in solo, but co-op looks to be the real standout way to play.

Interchanging weapons and abilities with a buddy or two in co-op look like they will create some epic battle arenas. These arenas - or realms as they're called here - are also "dynamically generated", meaning each playthrough will provide different opportunities, or maybe just new ways to die?
