While Assassin's Creed: Unity will never make it to the older and nowhere near powerful enough consoles, this fall's second game in the franchise, Assassin's Creed: Rogue so far announced for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, might very well find its way to the new-gen platforms.
In fact, Assassin's Creed: Rogue has been listed for PC by the Brazilian Classification Board, and briefly the game was also listed for PC by Ubisoft themselves on the Uplay website.
Shortly after the listings were spotted by NeoGAF users the game disappeared from both sites, but Ubisoft has never ruled out the possibility of bringing Rogue to more formats. If a PC version indeed is in the works, it's natural to assume that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are also being considered, but for now we'll have to settle for the strong indications of a PC version.
While Assassin's Creed: Unity takes us to Paris during the French Revolution, Rogue will focus on expanding the naval warfare we remember from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. It will also take players to environments far colder than anything we have seen in the series so far.
