If you're a fan of Resident Evil, or gaming in general, you've probably not missed what has been fueling a lot of rage lately - that Capcom didn't include a way to reset the saved games on the Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D cartridges. In a video on the Capcom Unity-blog, Capcom US boss Christian Svensson was of course asked about it and pointed out that there was no conspiracy behind the decision - but also mentioned that he didn't think that we would see a system like that again in the future.
"It's fair to say there was never quite the malicious intent the conspiracy theorists out there would have you believe," Christian said in the video. "It's also fair to say in light of the controversy it's generated I don't think you're going to see something like this happening again."
Victory for the consumers or simply a lot of ado about nothing? You decide.
