Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be launching on the Nintendo Switch via a brand new version - the Cloud Version - on May 24, which means that everything is operated through the cloud (GamesIndustry.biz reports that the game will use the Ubitas cloud service to deliver the game), and will therefore need an internet connection to play, one that Nintendo stresses should be stable.
As reported by Nintendo Everything, the eShop listing says that English won't be available. We do know the download size though, which is a mere 45MB, unsurprising considering the setup, and enables you to play the full game and all the DLC on Switch.
You can play the first 15 minutes for free in this version but then after that a 2,000 yen ticket will be required, lasting 180 days and allowing access to the entire game. For more details you can check out the game's official website, but would you like to see this come to your territory?
