Titanfall developer Respawn apparently has multiple titles in development and these upcoming games are scheduled for release during 2019, publisher EA has told investors. The information is surprising, to say the least, with the intel not yet confirmed (or denied) by the studio.
EA boss Andrew Wilson revealed the news during a quarterly earnings call, telling shareholders that "across multiple studies, we have new projects underway, including games from Respawn that are slated to launch by next holiday season."
When asked by one investor if Wilson pluralising "games" was mistake, EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen said: "You heard Andrew say 'games' plural in regards to Respawn. Consider that a little Easter egg left in the conference call."
Titanfall 3, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and... something more, perhaps? There has been talk about an upcoming VR title, although nothing concrete has been revealed on that front in terms of potential release dates. Either way, it seems as though we're getting more than one game from the studio next year.
As long as one of them is Titanfall 3, consider us pleased.
