Riot Games has announced the Ignition Series for Valorant, which will help to shine a spotlight on its flourishing community. The plan is for it to highlight a few tournaments each week and build recognition for the best competitive teams and players.
The developer revealed that it has partnered with 20 esports organisations and its first two tournaments, the European G2 Esports Invitational and the Rage Valorant Japan Invitational, are set to commence 19 June. The Ignition Series is planned to also hold events across North America, Brazil, Latin America, Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Oceania, Europe, Russia, Turkey, and the Middle East.
