Riot Games has revealed that it has extended its partnership with Mercedes-Benz for a bunch of extra years, tying the pair together through 2025. As part of the deal, Mercedes will remain known as League of Legends esports exclusive automotive partner, and the deal will see the pair stepping up how they work together.

This will begin with the Worlds 2022 Championship Rings, which Mercedes has teamed up with Aether Diamonds to produce a piece of jewellery that is made by taking CO2 out of the atmosphere, thus promoting sustainable and highlighting ecological impacts.

Plus, the pair will be collaborating on a highlights series for the World Championship, one of which will be the trophy ceremony at the end of the tournament.

"Mercedes-Benz is synonymous with excellence, and over the last three years, their partnership has helped elevate and celebrate the biggest moments across our sport," said Naz Aletaha, global head of League of Legends Esports at Riot Games. "The passion and creativity Mercedes-Benz brings to every collaboration is second to none, and we're thrilled to extend our relationship and continue to join efforts on more high-impact moments for LoL Esports and our community."

There is no mention of any financials relating to the deal.
