Blizzard stated that it would be producing more cosmetics to align with the Overwatch League at the start of this season, and that included skins relating to each tournament cycle, and likewise customised versions of these skins for the victors of each tournament. For the Kickoff Clash, we got Luchador Reaper, and now for the Midseason Madness, Royal Knight Mercy has been unveiled.

This skin is on sale right now for 200 League Tokens, and turns the Swiss support character into a lance-wielding knight clad in plate armour. The blog post revealing the skin states that "Royal Knight Mercy's design combines many of the hero's original characteristics with the visual theme of a kingdom's sworn protector."

Concept artist Emily Siu added, "The skin fits well with her characteristics of helping, protecting, and being a guardian of the people," before adding, "the lion crest symbolizes courage, nobility, royalty, strength, and valor."

The skin will remain on sale until August 19, so be sure to check it out and grab it if it takes your fancy.
